Pilning Flower Show Supports Moments with £2,600 Donation

We were delighted to meet members of the Pilning Flower Show Committee at St Peter’s Church in Pilning, where they presented Moments with an incredible £2,100 cheque following this year’s Flower Show.

Pilning Flower Show has been part of the local community since 1896 and is now the oldest remaining local flower show in the area. Run by a dedicated volunteer committee, the annual event brings the community together through gardening, baking, photography, arts, crafts and other competitions, while raising money for local good causes. Moments was very grateful to be chosen as the Show’s nominated charity for 2026.

The £2,100 cheque followed an earlier £500 donation presented to Moments at the Flower Show itself, bringing the committee’s total contribution to an extraordinary £2,600.

The money was raised with the support of the local community, businesses, exhibitors and visitors, including through the Show’s popular raffle and auction. We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved in making the event such a success.

As a small grant-giving charity, donations like this go directly towards helping us support organisations working in mental health, bereavement and suicide prevention. A contribution of £2,600 will make a significant difference to the charities and community organisations we fund.

A huge thank you to the entire Pilning Flower Show Committee, and to everyone who attended, entered, donated, volunteered or supported the Show. We are very proud to have been their chosen charity for 2026.
